Over the past year or so I’ve been pretty fortunate to hook up with various creators and work on some great stuff or develop relationships for future projects. This has also led to me getting to do a few things outside my comfort zone.
A few months back I began talking with author C.E.L. Welsh about collaborating on a comic project. We’ve talked about a couple different cool things. For now Welsh is busy getting his book, CLUTCH Book One of the Wrecked Earth, ready for release in November.

Last week I got an email from Welsh about the cover for his book. Danny Cruz, who did the art for for the cover (The really really awesome art. check out his DeviantArt page, it’s pretty great! ) was unable to finish the coloring on the cover. So I came on as colorist for the front and back cover. It was a little intimidating but super fun and an honor to work on Danny’s art.

I had been wanting to try my hand at coloring someone else’s art for awhile and got an awesome opportunity.
