The Rocket Raccoon Post

Our friends Tara and Mike in Michigan have a nice backyard and a deck filled with bird feeders. They also have a Turkey. I was on this back deck about a month or so ago drawing and looked up to my daughter and our friend Mike trying to get my attention so I would look behind me. I turned around and saw this huge turkey just walking around the yard. They have a garden back there and this turkey just started showing up in the yard. They put a little troth out there for her and she comes around all the time now.
Why am I telling you this? Because they also have raccoons. With all of the bird feeders they have a small colony of raccoons that like to show up at night and go for the seeds and such. So I always imagine Rocket Raccoon was leading the charge. Why? Because I’m a dork and I really like Rocket Raccoon.
So here is a drawing I did today of Rocket Raccoon.

So, that’s the story. Yes, I know, it really didn’t have anything to do with anything and I could have been like “So they’re making a Guardians of the Galaxy movie” but, meh.

I would also like to direct your attention to the kickstarter Christian Sager and I still have going to raise the funds to put out our historical horror graphic novel, THE CABINET. We only have 13 days left so, as usual, I ask if you can help with funding and or spreading the word.

Thanks, and remember, Rocket Raccoon is pretty awesome.
