Been a fairly busy week trying to get caught up after being away for a couple weeks. Finishing up gray tones on “the Hobo Kings” first 5 pages and plotting out the next 5 (which should hopefully be a new 10 page preview in time for San Diego Comic Con) and getting the pages going for the other big project, “the Cabinet”.
I just finished the first page of what will be Christian Sager and I’s Cabinet preview for the Kickstarter campaign that’s kicking off in a couple weeks. We were pretty excited and thought we would share this first page! This is a project that I am trying to use a variety of whats available to me in terms of traditional and digital mediums.

So, here is a look at page 1 of the Kickstarter preview:

There are still a couple small things to do to it, not to mention I’m sure you noticed the lack of dialog. You’ll just have to wait for that, hopefully we will creep you out a bit before it’s all over.

A couple other things worth mentioning, Eric Orchard has released MarrowBones issue 2 for download, and again it’s delightfully fun. It also has pin-ups from various artists, including myself. Check it out HERE, you won’t be disappointed!

A while back I posted a page from a project I was working on with Geoffrey D. Wessel for the comic anthology “Unite and Take Over Vol. 2”. It is a collection of stories inspired by songs by the Smiths. It is now available and you can order that HERE.
